I first saw soundscape in the early nineties when it was only at V1.0 beta, at the time it was limited to I think 4 tracks it was 2 in 4 out, I was working on 48 trk 2" tape at the time, I was impressed by its simplicity and the way it sounded. With only limited I/O it passed me by for a while, But when I heard through colleagues and the media that soundscape had the facility for multi I/O (V2.0) I thought this could be the answer.
I was recording an album in Great Lynford Manor in Milton Keynes and doing a hell of a lot of edits on tape, it took kin ages, I received a Royalty cheque for the second Supergrass Album and thought, Time to have another look at soundscape, I went to Raper and Wayman and spoke to Phil Darke and discu ...
