Introduction
I'm a user of one or more PC-native audio application packages, such as Cubase, Nuendo, Sonar, Sequoia, GigaSampler, etc ... and I'm looking for a powerful, reliable and affortable audio infrastructure for my PC.
Soundscape offers a range of powerful, highly reliable & competitively priced components for Digital Audio Workstations for use with any PC-native audio application software. The Soundscape PCI audio cards are known to offer the most reliable, powerfull & flexible solution for PC with up to 64 streams In & 64 Out on a single card. They are combined with the Soundscape iBox 48/64 series audio converters, offering a large variety of high quality audio interfaces to various formats such as MADI, AES, ADAT, TDIF and/or analog, upto 64 audio I/O in a single box. Multiple Soundscape PCI cards can be combined in a single PC, building configurations that no other brand can deliver.
At Sydec Audio Engineering we stronlgy believe that ... an audio card is only as good as its driver. Multiple Soundscape cards can be installed in a single PC. All streams & all audio I/O of all cards simultaneously are made available to all PC-native audio application at the same time, with all driver-standards simultaneoulsy (ASIO2, GSIF2, MME, WDM, DWave), through a single patch bay & mixer application. The indicated number of streams In & Out, as well as the physical audio In & Out are always available simultaneously. With no other system it is possible to build an equally powerfull & stable audio infrastructure for your favourite PC-native audio application software.
PCI cards
The very first Mixtreme PCI card was launched in 1999 and is still in use in many studios. The card was well ahead of its time, offering true multiclient, multidriver and multicard support, offering user control through a highly flexible patch bay & mixer application with DSP-based PlugIn capabilities. Unrivaled reliability and value for money still make the card today the platform of choice for many radio play-out installations. Read more on MIXtreme in the mixtreme product page.
For more demanding applications, Mixpander Bundles offer a very similar audio infrastructure with just more streams, more audio I/O plus more mixer & DSP power. Read more details in the mixpander bundles product page.
Furthermore there is also the Madixtreme PCI card for users who require 64 streams with a MADI port interface to their console or a MADI equiped audio I/O device, which could be an iBox 64-MADI unit or any unit of another manufacturer. Read more details in the madiXtreme product page.
For use with Cubase or Nuendo, read more details in the Steinberg application page.
