The most elegant & cost efficient way to connect your ProTools system to a console or any modern multi-channel audio I/O device, is through a MADI connection, offering up to 64 audio I/O channels through a single optical connection, that could extent over 100's of meters. iBox MADI2-HD2
Each Soundscape iBox MADI-HD2 converts up to two primary ports of your Pro Tools HD® system to one or two optical MADI ports. The iBox MADI-HD2 is connected directly to the HD-cards as a regular ProTools I/O device, and interfaces the system with one or two regular industry standard MADI port(s).  iBox audio interfaces
Furthermore the Soundscape iBox 64-MADI series offers a large variety of competitively priced, high quality audio converters between MADI and various formats such as AES, ADAT, TDIF and/or analog. These units can all be used as standalone format converters, controlled from their front panel.
They also feature a Soundscape Expansion Bus port, that allows them to be used in combination with a Mixpander to form a Mixpander Bundle, offering a additional path to stream audio channels In & Out of the PC from/to any PC-Native audio application, through a zero latency software patch bay & mixer with highly flexible routing capabilities.

iBox HD2-Paks
The iBox HD2-Paks consist of an iBox MADI-HD2 plus one or two iBox 64-MADI type units. Depending to which models iBox 64-MADI are selected, such configuration provides up to 64 I/O to be selected from the 24/48 TDIF, AES or ADAT I/O and the 24/48 analog I/O. Multiple iBox 64-MADI units can be daisy chained through the MADI link. For more details please check the iBox HD2 Pak product page. Not all possible combinations are offered as a Pak.
