Overview
Aphex systems are the world renowned inventors of spectral enhancement effects that can dramatically improve the high frequency clarity, detail, presence and bass frequency energy of a mix. They have teamed up with Sydec Audio Engineering to develop the Aural Exciter® Type III and Big Bottom Pro plug ins, based on the classic Aphex Aural Exciter Type III and patented Big Bottom circuitry, for all Soundscape Digital Audio Workstations (Soundscape 32, Soundscape 16, R.Ed, SSHDR1-Plus) and DSP powered expansion cards (Mixpander, Mixtreme).
The Big Bottom Pro plug in is available in mono and stereo forms, for a wide range of possible applications. It can for instance be inserted into a mono mixer strip for treatment of a single instrument, or into a stereo mixer strip to process a full mix, in combination with the Aphex Aural Exciter Type III plug in.
