System requirements
The system requirements are highly dependent on the amount of data to be processed and the window size used.
Minimum configuration for PC
(standard 600x400 window and a 20 second sample)
- Windows 2000/XP Home or Professional
- Pentium II 500 MHz, 64 MB RAM
- 1024x768 pixels resolution with true color (24bit or 32bit)
- R.Ed 16/24/32 or Soundscape 16/32 running on Windows 2000/XP
- Soundscape Editor 5.1 and above
- USB port for Syncrosoft hardware dongle
Recommended configuration for PC
(for larger resolutions and longer selections)
- Windows 2000/XP Home or Professional
- Pentium IV or AMD Athlon XP with at least 1.5 GHz, 512 MB RAM
- Pentium IV or AMD Athlon XP with at least 2.5 GHz, 2 GB RAM for Multitrack Takes
- 1280x1024 pixels resolution with true color (32bit is usually fastest)
- Soundscape Editor 5.1 and above using Takes on native Units
- USB port for Syncrosoft hardware dongle
