The fully Double-Precision Architecture provides the true SSL Console sound without compromises at Sample Rates between 44.1kHz and 96 kHz.
The Plug-In does not add any additional latency inside SSL Mixpander and MX4 DSP Mixing Engines.

Input Section
The Input Section of the EQ and Filters plug-in features an Input gain knob offering 20db of gain and attenuation and an accompanying Input level meter.
Filter Section
The Filter Section includes a 12dB/Octave low pass filter and an 18dB/Octave high pass filter. The filters can be placed before or after the equalizer.
Equalizer Section
The Equalizer section is a classic, flexible four band parametric EQ. This plug-in includes two distinct EQ flavours, one based on the SSL G series EQ and another based on the latest version of SSL’s legendary E series EQ. The plug-in includes high and low frequency shelving equalizers (which can be switched to peaking curves) and two overlapping equalizers with adjustable Q.

The Console Dynamics plug-in is ported from the C200 console and includes an independent compressor/limiter and gate/expander as well as an input and output gain adjustment knob.
The Plug-In is also available with Mono or Stereo Sidechain, enabling to use a separate “control” signal to drive the gain computers inside the compressor/limiter and gain/expander sections.

Sections
Input Section
The Input Section of the Console Dynamics plug-in features an Input gain knob offering 20db of gain and attenuation and an accompanying Input level meter.
On SC Versions the SC In toggle button allows to switch the gain computer detection between the main audio input and the side-chain input.
Compressor
The compressor/limiter section has a number of key features including a variable compression ratio from 1:1 to Infinity:1, a variable threshold from -30dB to +10dB, auto sensing attack time (or selectable 1ms attack time), and a variable release from 0.1 to 4 seconds. The Compressor/Limiter has two modes of signal detection, Peak and RMS. As their names suggest these modes of detection either act on peaks of the incoming signals or on their RMS levels. This gives two very different modes of compression and limiting with Peak Mode giving far more dramatic compression characteristics.
Expander/Gate
The Expander/Gate controls include a variable range from 0 to 40dB, a variable threshold from -30dB to +10dB, an auto-sensing attack time (switchable to 150 micro seconds), a variable hold time from 0 to four seconds and a variable release time from 0.1 to 4 seconds.
Output Section
The Output Section of the Console Dynamics plug-in features an Output gain knob offering 20db of gain and attenuation and an accompanying output level meter.
On SC Versions the SC Listen toggle button allows to listen to the main audio or the signal going to the side-chain.

The Plug-Ins are either installed by installing the SSL Mixer V6 software*
or
by downloading the Console Bundle DLL pack, and manually copying the DLLs to your Editors MixElem\V103 Folder (which is normally C:\Program Files\Soundscape\MixElem\V103).
*IMPORTANT:
The SSL Mixer V6 software adds a new look to all standard Mixer elements.
If you want to maintain the current look of your Soundscape Editor, please install the Mixer V6 into a different directory than your Soundscape Editor Software (normally in C:\Program Files\Soundscape) or download the DDL Pack.

If you are experiencing the problem, that the SSL Console Dynamics Plug-In is not a selectable entry in the Editors Plug-in List, please download the alternative SSLCD.dll, close the Editor Software and place it in the aforementioned V103 folder.
