Overview
 With 32 simultaneous tracks of latency-free audio recording and playback, 28 inputs and 32 outputs, comprehensive sync options, room for up to four hard disks and enough on-board DSP power to run the Soundscape Editor software front-end (controlled via a host PC), the Soundscape 32 is not just the world's most reliable DAW. It's also the friendliest, and, quite simply… the most desirable!
However, while the Soundscape 32 is a superb recording and editing system in its own right, it's also the basic building block for bigger Soundscape systems, many of which are used on a daily basis in the most demanding professional contexts such as studio-based or live recording, audio restoration or post production.
The Soundscape Editor Live Pack is the ideal solution for ultra-reliable live recording and live playback of pre-recorded parts, and for advanced mixing and editing when back in the recording studio. You don't need to convert entire projects between different formats anymore when going from a studio setup to a stage setup. Soundscape handles it all! It also brings enormous flexibility to the organization of your live events.
Included:
- Soundscape 32 unit and PCI Host Interface card (for connection to the host PC).
- Soundscape Parallel Host Interface cable. Can be used instead of the PCI Host Interface card for control via a parallel port equipped laptop computer (the computer must support EPP mode).
- Soundscape Synchronization board. This card is mounted in the Soundscape 32 unit to add LTC (Longitudinal Time Code, VITC (Vertical Interval Time Code), Video Sync (e.g., Black Burst), BITC (Burnt-In Time Code) and 9-pin compatibility. The Soundscape 32 system also features MTC, MIDI Clock and ASIO syncrhonization as standard.
- Soundscape Editor software (latest version).
- iEdit Bundle, comprising of the iEdit 128-K and 128-M control surfaces, for lightning fast editing.
- Soundscape Mixpander/9 multi-DSP card, providing a huge amount of extra power for mixing, effects and processing. The Mixpander also provides even tighter integration between the Soundscape system and host PC, with extra Soundscape audio tracks running on the PC and VST and VSTi plug-in compatibility for the Soundscape Mixer.
- Soundscape Drive Carrier for the host PC (to run these extra audio tracks - for up to 64 tracks in total).
- Two Soundscape iBox 64-MADI-TA multiformat and multichannel audio conversion units.
- Soundscape Audio Toolbox mixer plug-in suite.
- Time Module Editor plug-in suite.
- All necessary cables (Host Interface cable, Mixpander cable and three TDIF cables). Only MADI cables are not supplied due to varying requirements.
